Coatings Meets or exceeds AAMA specifications for durability and weatherability. Specifications: A high-solids polyester paint meeting AAMA specifications. Standard applied colors include white and bronze. Custom colors to meet your requirements are available. The standard factory-applied finish is baked polyester meeting AAMA 603. |
Fluorocarbon
Coatings Boyd’s high performance coatings, utilizing Kynar™ 500, a stable, premium strength resin, are the ultimate paint for fade and chalk resistance and durability—even in the harshest environments. KYNAR 500™ is a registered trademark of Pennwalt Corporation. Specifications: Fluorocarbon spray coating factory applied by a licensed applicator in accordance with AAMA specifications. This fluorocarbon coating shall meet or exceed AAMA 605 specifications for high performance. |
Anodized
Finishes The anodizing process meets or exceeds AAMA specification. The process can render a clear or light bronze to dark bronze or black finish with superior color consistency. Specifications: Available in Clear (meeting AAMA 607 specifications) and Light Bronze, Medium Bronze, Dark Bronze, and Black (meeting AAMA 608 specifications). Provides superior weatherability and high resistance to abrasion and corrosion. Standard anodized colors include Clear and Dark Bronze. |
